WIDEST TIRE ON STOCK 79 REAR RIM
The subject line says it all. The widest that will fit the OEM rear wheel without rubbing anything?

I believe that these tires are supposed to be the widest you can use. As the ad states, they were discussed in a previous XPress article.

I use them on my '79 and '80. As the ad also states, they have good traction but they do wear relatively quick.
