Tank Badge Screws

Post by Mouse »

Hi all.
I had one of my tank badge screws vanish during a ride.
The stock screw (for the 79) is an M3x6mm, black, Phillips drive, V head screw. The ones I now have are M3x6mm, black, Cap Head, Allen key drive, that fit nicely into the tank badge.
I got them off Amazon and they were inexpensive for the 100 pc pkg so....

If anyone wants some send me a PM and I'll happily mail them to you. No charge.

Edited to reflect Steve's post.

Thanks for the offer, Mouse.

There are 2 different sizes of tank badge screws.
According to the parts manual the '79 are 3x6 and the '80 are 4x6.

I think I still have a bunch of those in stainless socket head. I can bring them to the Pennsylvania rally in August. Screws are free, delivery charges are paid in beer.

Either garage is too small or we have too many bikes. Or Momma's car needs to go outside.
