Gas prices have been given as the primary reason motorcycle sales are up this year in the US. (with all of the new riders, there has been a corresponding increase in crashes/fatalities).

Just back from a trip to Europe. Rental car refuel bill at Frankfurt Airport shows a price for unleaded regular of Euro 1,209/L or U.S. $ 5.75/Gal when converted at 1.26$/Euro and 3.785L/Gal.

Price upon arrival in Cleveland, Ohio 15 hours later is $2.11/Gal. Cheap gas!
