Glad to hear you got it fixed.
Always nice to hear a follow-up and/or conclusion to a thread. Many of us are lax in that regard.

Thanks Nils! Went on a 70 mls ride yesterday, no more rattle, almost like a Gold Wing (well, minus the exhaust note)!

By the way, 300 mls ago or so I cleaned my headers with Barkeepers Friend and 0000 steel wool. The blueing is completely gone and did not come back (compare to the avatar). Headers are a little more dull though, but still look better than before IMHO!

Try these next time, they won’t dull your chrome. The Simichrome cream is for heavy bluing and the blueaway is for stained chrome. You can use them by themselves or in conjunction with each other to get your desired effect.
