Lots of good advice. This forum helped me a lot with my bike. Steep learning curve with these bikes.

I'd suggest you start with the carbs - it certainly seems the most likely problem area. And take your time, otherwise, like me, you will get really good at removing the carbs! :lol: You already have Mike's book so that's a great start. I'd second the Randakk kit. Was also recommended to me and I've bought a couple of sets for my bikes. Quality stuff and all you need.
