Hi all

Post by Michael Vidovic »

Hi all I've got an 80 model which is currently running the 6 into 6 which sounds great...for a while. I would like to quieter it down a bit, does anybody know if their are baffles that can soothe my ageing ears?

Hi ya, Michael.
If it is the Pipemasters system on your bike they do make 2 size baffles.
Maybe you have the "Performance" ones?
In reality, the 2 levels are loud and louder.
There is room around the baffles for exhaust wrap.

Any dirt bike shop should carry the fiberglass mats that you can cut to fit.
Something like this...http://www.motorcycle-superstore.ca/178 ... acking-kit
Wire to hold in place and you are good to go.
You can also use steel wool but it has to be stainless so it doesn't rust.

Being single....again, the decision was an easy one.
Clean clothes or a properly running bike?
Unfortunately it means the single part could be permanent. haha.

Yeah, I gave the same choices as you Steve.
Somehow bikes are more important than clean clothes.
