Hello from Sweden.

Anyone who got a tip or idea on how to fix this exhaust rear ”baffle”? Maybe someone has a old silencer with a clean ”baffle” that i could weld in place.

I think previous owner wanted a better sound on his cbx and cut out the rear baffle on the silencer. Real shame for the pipes is in good shape and will look great after a Nils special phosporic acid treatment.

Its a HM422 system that also got a Sankei 2040 stamped.

Thanks Marten

Here are some pictures for a reference of what the baffle looks like, the front is just a friction fit into the mid pipe, the rear has a spot weld or two fitting it to the megaphone. So you’ll need a replacement baffle from an other wrecked or rotted system, preferably a 422.

I’m not sure why my pictures are posting upside down, not much I can do about it.
