Any one got any experience on those new exhaust sets that 6 center (and a few others) are selling? the guy from six center said that they got them made up in japan especially.

If they were made in Japan, they are from a limited run of pipes that Sankei, the manufacturer, made. They are like the originals. I thought they were all sold out.

I think I saw them at six center a week or two ago as well. I guess a new run.

I see them listed on Bert's SCM website.

I believe it was Bert who arranged the first reissue of the oem pipes.
CBX a work in progress, still improving...GS1150EFE completed and awaiting modifications.....RD350, remnants in boxes scattered throughout the garage

Hi,

A new production run of the replicas was commissioned (by Bert). Haven't seen them yet, but told as good as the previous "sankei replicas" that were being sold.

SixCenter, David Silver and CMSNL all selling the same replica system.

Delkevic continue to sell a different replica system. That one's good, but was never quite as good as the "sankei replica" system sold by Sixcenter and others.

Paul.

Don't know shipping cost. However, the price is a real bargain at <$1400! Only thing 'missing', that I can see, is the crossover for the '82.

I bought a set of Exhausts from Six center... Look very nice indeed. installed them with only one minor issue, the left heat shield didnt fit for my bike so i used my oem one which went on perfectly. nice original like sound but my carbs are playing up so i havent done a real ride test yet.
