Center stand interference with exhaust

Post by cross »

Hi guys,

I was wondering about the center stand and exhaust interference.
Is this only on the left side or both?
If custom exhaust was made for 79/80 mod year, why wouldn’t it fit 81/82 year?

Thanks

The center stands for the early models and the Pro-Link are completely different and hit the exhaust at different places. Physically, any CBX exhaust for any year will bolt onto any other CBX, but the center stand stop needs to be placed for which model it's on.

I see, thanks Dave. I was looking at the moto gp works 6-1 exhaust and was wondering if it would interfere with the center stand on the prolink. From the pictures it doesn't appear that it would.
As far as center stand stop, where is it? I don't even know if mine has it. My center stand or is it the side stand always hits the frame when going over bumps
