Speedo and Tach Gauges, Lubricate?

Post by DevonCbx »

I had to open up my gauges. While they are apart, is there some type of lubricant to apply or spray on the working components.
Thanks
Duane

Duane, No lubes other than a possible squirt to the main bearing ONLY with WD40 ( if it squeals, just always keep it on its back... IE. In the operating position) just clinical cleanliness is all that is necessary.

PS, If I haven't said it before ( old age muddles me I'm afraid, ) welcome to the site. 8)
