Lettering on bar switches

Post by sixcount »

Been looking but have not found where to have the bar switch lettering redone. Anyone?

I have never heard of a hobbyist or professional service for that. Several individuals have tried it with mixed results. Quite frankly, it would be far cheaper to just buy reproduction switches than to ship the switches and pay someone to re-letter them. They are excellent quality.

With hobby shop model paint and easy to find fluorescent color
toothpick and patience a decent job can be done

A while back,Nils (noblehops) did an excellent write-up of how he refurbished his switches. You might try doing a search....

Either garage is too small or we have too many bikes. Or Momma's car needs to go outside.

I used one of these Marabu pens. Gave really good results but not sure how robust it will be. Can touch it up again anyway and you can do it without removing the switchgear.

Thank you for all the tips! Have not touched a cigarette in 40 years, time for an exception.
