Multi Plug Connectors

Post by banjobill08 »

Hi All,
Its that time when I need to refresh my wiring including the multi way connectors, however I'm finding the 4 way 6 way and 8 way connectors hard to find, I can source the non latching type but not similar like for like variant?
Does anyone know of a supplier in the UK has has them in stock?

regards.

Hi,

Here you go:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/str/autostarshop ... =819950013

They have some of what you need (you need the connectors with the 6.3mm terminals for the Z model, prolinks have smaller terminals I believe).

Paul.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply, yes, I ordered from these, but the 4 way and 6 way were different? the 2 and 3 way were ok.

However I think I've found a company that has the correct ones that are compatible....Kojaycat.co.uk

regards.

And in a pinch you can scavenge a wiring harness from any Honda of that era, I have a few old goldwing and other Honda harnesses that I have been scavenging for 25 yrs on various projects around the shop, my 360 mower was the most recent fix.

If you get stuck, I've bought heaps of stuff from these guys...

http://www.cycleterminal.com/250-connectors.html#SC250

Scroll down about half way down the page to the Sumitimo lock type connectors.

Their bullet connectors are nice little units too.

And maybe a handy tip to colour the connectors similar to OEM, I just 'colour in' the white plastic housings with a permanent Sharpie pen of the desired colour from your local Officeworks store. I've used this for the brown and red 2 wire connectors. Keeps it looking near enough to OEM for me.
