Neutral and Oil Pressure Connector Disassemble

Post by Want2ride »

Anyone know how to remove the Neutral and oil pressure switch wires from green connector on the left side of motor? I want to add shrink tubing to the wires to help the strength of the insulation. Tried stabbing a tiny flat screw driver into the end you plug into normally on the side that seems to have a tab but after many attempts could not get the wires to pull out. Any ideas or experiences with this part?

If nothing else the wires are ok for now and I could just wrap them again with electrical tape but I prefer heat shrink tubing.

They pop out just like all the other Honda connectors. Identify the prong end and the little groove formed in the plastic. I use 1/2 of a tiny, thin pair of tweezers to release the tabs.
