Speedo Drive

Post by Stevo »

Hi, can anyone tell me how many revolutions does the speedo drive cable do for one revolution of the front wheel. The reason I cant look is because I am using a Acewell speedo/tacho combo and the Acewell sensor that goes into the wheel drive had to be located with a small piece of wire and epoxcy. I need to enter into the setup the circumference of the front wheel and number of pulses per revolution. Thought someone would know if not will take a guess and compare with another bike at speed. 1981 Prolink.

I don't know the answer but you can dial it in with a free GPS app on your phone to give you MPH and then adjust accordingly.
