Has anyone found a source for a rebuild kit for the vacuum controlled fuel petcock?
It has fallen victim to fuel with the addition of good old ethanol and leaks profusely as soon as I open the tank mounted petcock.
Any leads would be greatly appreciated.

Keeeeel eeeeeeet. They are so much easier to start after a layoff without it. New fuel line and a brass tee and the deed is quickly done.

Yep --- get rid of the valve. Just remember to turn it off ALWAYS whenever you stop. You won't forget to turn it on! (Not for long!)

It looks like the only alternative is to remove the valve. Turning off the petcock is no big deal. I had a 79 back in the day and that was what we did then.
Thanks guys! I will still probably take the valve apart to see if there is a work around.
